The solution

STANLEY Healthcare’s AeroScout® Staff Workflow solution delivers enterprise awareness to enhance staff satisfaction and workflow efficiency. By providing real-time staff location visibility, the system provides data for robust business intelligence, empowering hospitals to transform how they assess care delivery and how they continually enhance processes and procedures.

STANLEY Healthcare’s MobileView™ platform supports more than the AeroScout Staff Workflow solution. Hospitals can rely on it a unified platform for a host of RTLS-enabled visibility and analytics applications, including enterprise-wide Asset Management, Environmental Monitoring, Patient Flow, Staff and Patient Protection, and Hand Hygiene Compliance Monitoring.

The solution becomes even more compelling when it joins forces with the Ascom Unite System. With the ability to monitor staff movement down to the room and bay level, hospitals can automate the workflow of nurse call systems.

  • Provides location-based alerts to staff members, notifying the caregiver who’s closest to the patient requiring immediate attention
  • Automatically illuminates the light outside a patient room whenever a staff member enters, with multiple colors indicating staff role
  • Uses visual indications to let other staff members know a patient’s needs are being addressed and automatically cancels those alerts when a nurse enters the room
  • Eliminates the need for staff to manually record time spent with patients or document responses to patient call—and generates reports with precise event detail, including date and time stamps, accurate response times and time spent in patient rooms
  • Offers advanced analytics tools for staff rounding compliance and process improvement
